  As a matter of fact, I have lived in homes that I have built since 1982 with the first loft home being built in 1984.

Now, I guess you don't want to know too much about my home, but more on who we are?

Well it started with an apprenticeship as a carpenter in 1974. From there I found that regular homes of brick and tile didn't do it for me, so I travelled the path of loft homes based on early Australian architecture. Funnily enough, this was also the style of a lot of homes in the New England area of America. Mixed with barns and sheds, Blue Mountains Designer Kit Homes emerged. We called it a kit home company for two reasons, firstly because we offered our designs in plans and materials and secondly, that was where it was prudent to advertise. These days it is a different story in that we sell kits, but more often than not, we are building full constructions for our clients.

Our display is on 2 acres in the blue mountains, about an hour west of Sydney. Whilst we have 2 buildings on display within the grounds, we also built a few of the houses adjacent to our block. If you need to see more, we usually have a home or 2 under construction around the mountains that I can show you through. But we have many finished homes that you could take a drive by.
